Take a ride back in time to the time of the ancient ones, the Anasazi. Out on the plateau you will ride on twin track through desert terrain with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains around Santa Fe. This area was once inhabited by the Anasazi and other pueblo cultures who left behind remnants of the past in the form of ancient ruin sites. Day two on the ride brings you to the lower end of the Rio Grande Gorge, named Whiterock Canyon. Here we can look over into Bandalier Nat. Monument and all of its beautiful canyons that carve their way to the river. Best time to go is in early spring and in the fall.
